The Corporate-Specific Adaptation Program (CSAP) focuses on engaging business sectors (e.g., commercial real estate, electricity, telecommunications, etc.) to identify climate change and extreme weather risks, such as flooding, and to subsequently establish practical and cost-effective means to limit those risks.

Dr. Feltmate is regularly a keynote speaker at industry events to convey the urgency of climate change adaptation across multiple sectors. See our events page here for past events we have attended.

A main focus for the Intact Centre is integrating adaptation planning in the electricity sector. Dr. Feltmate is Chair, Electricity Sector (Generation, Transmission, Distribution) Adaptation Standard, Canadian Standards Association.
